Spend Now Available on iOS and Android - Budget Smarter with Widgets and Notifications
We’ve been focused on building a product that takes the guess work out of budgeting so you can spend with certainty. From the moment we started building, we knew that mobile apps would be a valuable addition to our users—in fact, having a single glanceable number on our phone’s homescreens was a huge part of our motivation to build Spend in the first place.
We recently released our free budgeting app on the App Store and Google Play Store. It has the same features you expect from our web experience with some exciting additions.
Or, scan the QR code with your phone to open Spend in the app store:

Safe to Spend Widget
Once you’ve installed our budgeting app, you’ll find that you don’t even have to open it to see your Safe to Spend at a glance.
On your iOS 14+ device, long-press on the home screen, click “Edit” at the top and search for the Spend widget. On your Android 12+ device, long-press on the home screen, choose “Widgets” and search for the Spend widget. Long-press on the preview and drag it where you’d like on your home screen.
Now, the widget will remind you of your Safe to Spend every time you open your phone. Soon, you’ll realize that you always know how much you have left to spend for the week or month without even thinking about it. It becomes as familiar as the weather, your agenda, or your activity tracker. This is a huge leap for anyone trying to be better with their money. Without Spend, knowing what you can safely spend is not a trivial question to answer let alone to see at a glance. With Spend, it’s easy.

Notifications
Spend sends emails as recent transactions come in and highlights how your spending affects your budget. This helps you keep an eye on every transaction across all your linked accounts. It also helps you keep an eye on how your spending is tracking for the week—are you over- or under-spending?
Now, you can choose to have Spend to send you push notifications too. This makes it even easier to prioritize and streamline budget-related information from your mobile device.
We’ve been using these apps for some time now and are really enjoying them. We hope you do too!
